Cardi B’s WAP Reaches Addison Rae and the Rest of TikTok as a Dance Challenge

Addison Rae, the top tier TikToker, joined the WAP dance challenge on TikTok and received Cardi B’s immediate approval.

Cardi B’s reaction on twitter wasn’t late to come calling Addison Rae “Haaaaannnn”.

When Addison Rae’s mom saw her 19 year old TikTok sensation performing the dance, she wasn’t very excited. She tweeted while the video was still in her drafts: “dear Addison Rae… please remember to be nice to your mama… she’s just one small click away from posting her WAP draft.”

And she did. Once Addison’s video was up, her mom kept the promise and posted her own WAP TikTok. It was captioned, “i warned u @addisonre hope this teaches you to be nice to your mama”. She was serious!

Soon enough, Addison’s dad joined in on the fun! Just today, he posted his version of the WAP dance on TikTok, captioned: “I’m coming for the top spot @iamcardib”. He had a bit of trouble with the splits at the end, but it’s the thought that counts!

The dance instantly went viral on TikTok after the popular dancer @besperon created it two days after the song came out. The video got almost 11 million views, and hundreds of thousands of likes. Over the next few weeks, he made tons of other videos featuring the WAP dance slowed down, for non-flexible people, and in different outfits, including heels!
