Editorial Team
Every article on TikTok News Hub is published under the byline TikTok News Hub Staff. This page explains how the site is run and how a story gets published.
TikTok News Hub is an independently operated publication covering one platform: TikTok. We track viral trends, creator news, platform policy changes, and the cultural moments that start on TikTok and spread everywhere else. We’ve followed the platform closely since 2020.
Consistent with how many independent publications and newsletters operate, we keep the individual(s) behind TikTok News Hub private. What we stand behind publicly is the work itself: our sourcing, our standards, and our willingness to correct mistakes.
How a story gets published
- Research. We verify what actually happened using primary sources (the video or creator in question, official statements, regulatory filings, wire reporting) rather than repeating another outlet’s write-up.
- Drafting. Stories are written with AI-assisted tools for research and drafting support, under full editorial direction.
- Review and fact-check. Every article is checked and approved by a human editor before it goes live. Nothing publishes unreviewed.
- Correction, if needed. Errors get fixed. See our Corrections Policy.
Full detail on our sourcing rules, standards, and how AI tools fit into our workflow is in our Editorial Standards & Ethics Policy.
Independence
TikTok News Hub is independently operated and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance. We’re a media outlet that covers the platform, not a part of it.
