- Creation: “Easily create high-quality content, regardless of experience or resources.”

TikTok introduced Symphony in 2024. Its Newsroom post of June 17, 2024 says “at TikTok World 2024 we launched Symphony, our suite of ad solutions powered by generative AI,” and describes it as helping “businesses of all sizes, creators and agencies” to “blend human imagination with AI-powered efficiency to help scale content development, creativity, and productivity on TikTok.”

TikTok Symphony Creative Studio
TikTok’s Creator Academy page describes Symphony Creative Studio as “an AI-powered video creation tool designed to complement your creative process and help you create compelling content faster.” It says: “Whether you’re new to video creation or already a pro, Symphony Creative Studio can help take care of the heavy lifting and build a compelling, ready-to-post video in just minutes. Simply import your assets and let Creative Studio generate multiple video edits to choose from. Then, polish your video and add your creative touch using Symphony editing tools, and you’re good to go!”
The page adds that “Creative Studio is available globally and any content created using Creative Studio will be automatically labeled as AI-generated.”
TikTok’s June 3, 2025 business blog says TikTok was “excited to make Symphony Creative Studio available to all advertisers,” and that it is “now available to all logged-in TikTok for Business users.” The blog says the suite “aims to support advertisers and content creators with free tools to make the creative production process easier and more efficient, bridging the gap between ideation and production.”
TikTok’s help articles say users log in to Symphony Creative Studio “with your TikTok for Business account,” and that first-time users must complete a profile and accept the “Creative GenAI Terms.”
The TikTok Symphony Features TikTok Lists
TikTok’s June 3, 2025 blog says Symphony Creative Studio “consists of several features, supporting various use cases”:
Generate TikTok Ads
TikTok says this feature can “transform your brand or product details into TikTok-ready content in minutes.” Users input information and assets, or import them from a URL, and Creative Studio “generates a range of video options with unique layouts and scripts.” Per TikTok, the videos “draw inspiration from TikTok’s top-performing content and incorporate licensed assets,” including videos, images, sounds and avatars “sourced from partners like Billo and Getty Images,” which TikTok says are “all cleared for commercial use.” Users can edit the videos “before downloading them or exporting them directly to TikTok Ads Manager.”
Avatar Videos
TikTok describes avatar videos as using “Symphony Digital Avatars,” which it calls “AI-driven avatars of real people” with “various gestures, expressions, nationalities, ages, and languages.” To create one, TikTok says, a user selects an avatar, inputs a script “with translation options,” and chooses a voice, then can customize the avatar’s position, scale and style and add music, stickers and text.
Generate Scripts
TikTok says users can “generate custom TikTok-style scripts” through “a guided scriptwriting experience” or by entering a custom prompt. In the guided “Product Details” option, TikTok says, users input brand or product information, preferred tone, style, point of view, language, industry and duration. The blog says generated scripts can be edited and turned into a video using “Symphony’s built-in AI features, including avatars and voiceovers.”
Translate and Dub Videos
TikTok says this tool “translates your video’s original voiceover into multiple languages.” Users upload a video, select target languages, choose between cloning the speaker’s tone or stock voices, and can add lip-syncing “to help match your on-screen mouth movements with the new script.” More detail is in the translate and dub section below.
Video Editor
TikTok says the editor lets users “upload your assets and effortlessly enhance them with captions, avatars, scripts, music, stickers, effects, and transitions.” Edited videos can be exported to TikTok Ads Manager “for immediate deployment” or downloaded.
Refresh Ads and Your Daily Video Generations
For campaigns that have already launched, TikTok says Refresh Ads can “turn polished ads into refreshed variations to maximize their shelf life.” Users upload an ad from a computer or a synced TikTok Ads Manager account, then choose to add a video hook, swap the background music, or both. Per TikTok, the output includes “a variety of TikTok-style video hooks and royalty-free background music from the TikTok Commercial Music Library,” and users who add a hook can choose a seasonal theme such as Back to School.
TikTok also describes “Your Daily Video Generations,” which “provides daily, auto-generated video options tailored to your brand,” based on the user’s past activity in Symphony Creative Studio and “best practices and insights from top-performing content on TikTok.”
TikTok Symphony Avatars: Stock, Custom, Voiceover and Product
TikTok’s Newsroom post of June 17, 2024 introduced two kinds of Symphony Digital Avatars. It says “Stock Avatars” are “pre-built avatars created using paid actors that are licensed for commercial use,” available “from a diverse range of backgrounds, nationalities, and over 30 languages.” It says “Custom Avatars” are “crafted to represent a creator or a brand spokesperson with multi-language abilities,” and that creators “can leverage their own likeness and construct multi-lingual avatars to expand their global reach and brand collaborations.”
TikTok’s October 2026 help article describes two avatar generation modules in Symphony Creative Studio:
- Voiceover avatar: “allows you to choose from a library of avatars and templates based on filters such as industry, gender, background, and region.” Users can choose from “Real-human or AI-generated” avatars, then type a script or upload an audio file.
- Product avatar: “allows you to upload an image of a product or app screen and output video clips of an avatar holding, showcasing, or modeling the product.” TikTok notes that “clothing accessories, such as shoes, hats, sunglasses bracelets, etc. are not supported.”
The help article says users can also turn on captions, add a voiceover, choose music and edit with a timeline editor, and that exports sync to TikTok Ads Manager or download as video.
TikTok Symphony Translate and Dub Videos
TikTok’s help article says “Translate & dub videos is a feature in Symphony Creative Studio that can help you transform your original video’s voiceover language into new languages of your choice. You’ll be able to clone the same voice or select from a library of stock voices to create new videos.”
- Availability: “Translate & dub videos is not available for users in Texas and Illinois in the United States due to local restrictions.”
- Subtitles: users can replace existing subtitles so translated subtitles are positioned over the originals.
- Lip-sync: available “if your video has someone speaking on screen”; lip-sync rendering “will occur once the video is exported.” TikTok says lip-sync “does not work for videos that have multiple people speaking in the video, lips or mouth covered, poor lighting, or with background noises.”
- Script edits: “You will be permitted to make minor modifications, such as correcting typographical errors, to the generated script. Modifications that would materially alter the substance of the video, message, tone, or otherwise misrepresent the individual(s) views are not permitted.”
TikTok’s 2024 Newsroom post described the earlier AI Dubbing tool as one that lets creators and marketers “translate their content into 10+ languages and dialects,” and said it “automatically detects the original language in a video, transcribes, translates and produces a dubbed video in the selected languages.”
The TikTok Symphony Video Editor
TikTok’s help article says the video editor “allows you to edit any video with TikTok-optimized and AI-powered features. You can add scripts, generate captions, add royalty-free music, translate into multiple languages, and more.” The article lists tools for choosing assets from uploads, existing generations or a stock library; choosing audio from “trending music, recommended music, playlists, sound effects, favorites”; editing the script, translating it, selecting a voice, generating captions and adding lip sync; editing captions; replacing the avatar; and adding text styles, effects and stickers, all arranged on a timeline editor.
TikTok Symphony Labels, Terms and Moderation
All three help articles say: “An AI-generated label is added to all exported videos.” TikTok’s Creator Academy page says content created using Creative Studio “will be automatically labeled as AI-generated.” The June 3, 2025 blog says “all content generated by Symphony Creative Studio that meets the requirements for disclosing the use of AI from ad policy is automatically labeled as ‘AI-generated’ in the video output to enable creativity while giving viewers context about how the content was made.”
The help articles also say: “All content generated from Symphony Creative Studio will undergo further moderation and policy reviews on TikTok or TikTok Ads Manager prior to being cleared for publishing.”
TikTok Symphony Advertiser Results TikTok Cites
TikTok’s June 3, 2025 blog includes results it attributes to advertisers. These are TikTok’s reports, and the blog does not give methodology:

The Symphony Collective Behind TikTok Symphony
TikTok’s 2024 Newsroom post also announced “the Symphony Collective: Industry Advisory Board,” created “to help facilitate important discussions around the development and responsible use of AI in creative marketing.” It says the founding members “are comprised of a diverse range of content creators and thought leaders including representatives from Mondelez, American Eagle, Wendy’s and the NBA, agencies including OMD, Tinuiti, Day One, Tool, VaynerMedia, and TBWA Chiat, and creators such as Drea Okeke, David Ma, Michelle Gonzales, and O’Neil Thomas.”
