What we cover

TikTok News Hub reports on TikTok specifically: viral trends, creator news, platform features and policy changes, legal and regulatory developments, and the cultural moments that originate on the platform. We aim for genuine original angles, not recaps of what other outlets already covered.

Sourcing standards

• We prioritize primary sources: the original video or creator, official company or government statements, regulatory reports, and direct data over secondhand summaries.
• When we quote or cite another publication, we attribute it clearly and link to it. We don’t reproduce other publishers’ reporting wholesale.
• All analysis and synthesis is our own original work.

Balanced coverage

We cover TikTok’s upside and its problems. That includes critical reporting on the platform, its creators, and the companies around it when the story calls for it, not just favorable coverage. We’re a news outlet, not a fan site.

How we use AI tools
